Project Overview
An academic assignment focused on refactoring and redesigning sections of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) website. The goal was to establish a cleaner layout, improve navigation accessibility, and implement a responsive structural grid.
Architectural Changes
- Semantic Structure: Refactored the layout from legacy templates into clean semantic HTML5, separating navigation components from main content.
- Typography Refresh: Paired structural, high-readability headers with clear sans-serif body fonts to make course listings and explorer screens easy to scan.
- Navigation Redesign: Built a custom responsive navigation drawer with clean burger toggle micro-interactions for mobile viewports.
